We are a non profit,non partisan,public interest group of women in agriculture that work farms & have interest in where food comes from to feed families.
Michigan Agri-Women welcomes all individuals interested in agriculture that want to keep abreast of what is happening in rural agriculture from government rules and regulations to food safety and availability. Michigan Agri-Women offers women in all areas of agriculture an opportunity to communicate, have a voice, and offers connections and comraderie among their peers.
Member benefits can include dual membership in Michigan Agri-Women and American Agri-Women, networking opportunities, opportunity to serve on boards and committees, strong legislative voice, annual conventions, fly-ins, leadership training, and access to our newsletter and emails.
Our mission is to educate and promote agriculture and its importance to the economy and the environment. To maintain a network of women of all ages and professions in agriculture. To provide communication link between farmers and consumers. To address the public, media, and legislators with issues facing the agricultural industry.
